We have 118 secure steel container units on site, all watertight, dustproof, and vermin-proof. The complex is fully gated and alarmed, with 24/7 access via electronic swipe card – so you can get to your belongings any time, day or night.
How to find us
We’re easy to find. The facility is on Laughton Street in the Washdyke industrial area, north of Timaru off State Highway 1. If you’re coming from central Timaru, head north on SH1, turn into the Washdyke industrial zone, and follow Laughton Street to number 29. There is ample on-site parking and wide driveways for easy vehicle access – including trucks and trailers.

The AA Secure Storage facility is built for security and ease of use. All 118 container units are constructed from quality steel, fixed to concrete foundations, and fully roofed to guarantee protection from water, dust, and vermin year-round.
The site is surrounded by a 2.3 metre galvanised security fence with barb topping. Entry is through an electronic swipe card gate – monitored and recorded – and a laser-activated alarm is connected to a rapid response security company. Every unit is individually padlocked.
Wide driveways and generous loading areas mean you can drive right up to your unit.
There is no time pressure – access is available every day of the year, around the clock.
